Ernesto Rivas-Valentin has been working in the construction business for the past 20 years, starting out helping his father when he was just a young man at the age of 15. He is a third generation carpenter born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

He attended Pennco Tech Trade College and obtained his HVAC Diploma and then soon branched out to working in the boutique hotel industry as a Chief Engineer. While he worked in that business for 8 years, he was also taking on several remodeling projects with the Philly locals. This is what led to his love for residential repairs and home remodeling.

After moving to New Orleans, Ernesto opened his own home Remodeling and HVAC company, 1stTimeConstruction,LLC. He completes work throughout the Greater New Orleans Area and River Parishes.
